Mariam holds an MS in Nursing Science and is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Registered Nurse. She has studied Western herbal medicine and uses her knowledge and experience of organic gardening to grow and prepare herbal remedies that she uses in her practice of holistic health care. In addition to her academic training, and 12 years experience as a practitioner, she has 20 years of experience studying with traditional Islamic Scholars in the US, Saudi Arabia and Sudan. Mariam is a certified beekeeper, wildlife management specialist and cook.
Mariam’s practice focuses on integrating mental, physical, and spiritual health to guide individuals towards overall wellbeing. She takes a holistic approach, paying close attention to how people think, believe, and behave about health and wellness. Mariam is skilled in working with both men and women, respecting their natural dispositions, life stages, and individual challenges. Her work involves helping clients understand and manage their emotions, while designing personalized wellness plans that promote sustainable growth and healing. Mariam is particularly passionate about supporting women through various life stages, including dealing with illnesses, physical conditions, and transitions from puberty to menopause. She also has a special interest in providing care during pregnancy, including before, during, and after childbirth. Her practice is characterized by a compassionate and understanding approach, meeting clients where they are and helping them achieve their health and wellness goals in a balanced and supportive way.
