Join Islamic Psychologist and Art Therapist Dr. Abdallah Rothman, Artist Abdelkarim Cederberg, Expressive Arts Facilitator and Coach Hanan Al Asqari, and guests for a 4-night, 3-day spiritual therapeutic retreat in the mountains of Andalusia Spain.
The engagement with artistic media and the process of creativity open doors to exploring and experiencing ourselves and our inner world and facilitates healing and well-being.
Various art mediums will be introduced and their unique properties, modes of expression, and therapeutic power will be explored. All art materials will be provided, including watercolours, oil colours, natural pigments, stencils, charcoal, clay, etc. We will also explore classic Islamic patterns, symbols, and sacred proportions in the cosmos.
*No prior art experience or artistic skills is required.
Singing and performances by special guests: Isam Bashiri (Outlandish, DK) and Munshid Ameer Noureldin, (US) and others.
