About The Retreat
A Journey of Inner Healing and Renewal
This retreat offers a sanctuary for deep reflection, healing, and connection, blending muraqabah by the sea, heart-centered practices in Islamic Psychology, and suhba for meaningful companionship. Set in a tranquil coastal setting, it nurtures the body and soul through somatic practices, nature immersion, and farm-to-table halal meals, creating a transformative space for renewal and self-discovery.
When the world around us feels unstable and uncertain, we long to find the quiet within and to be in compassionate community with one another. The psychological gems within the Islamic tradition provide the soul a pathway towards cultivating this peace, both internally and externally. Drawing on this wisdom, Dar al Shifaa has developed a holistic framework of wellbeing, which is at the heart of everything we do, but it is realized to its fullest within a community setting that facilitates collective healing.
