Dar al Shifaa retreat 2026

A Journey of Inner Healing and Renewal

This retreat offers a sanctuary for deep reflection, healing, and connection, where muraqabah, heart-centered practices in Islamic Psychology, and suhba unfold within a space intentionally designed to support presence and stillness.

Set amidst open land, organic gardens, and expansive views of the Atlas Mountains in Marrakesh, Morocco, the retreat is held in an environment that naturally invites grounding and quiet. The riad itself reflects traditional Moroccan craftsmanship, with warm, simple interiors and open communal spaces that create both comfort and depth.

Rooted in principles of conscious living, the retreat experience is shaped by nourishment, nature, and embodied practice. Whether in moments of solitude in the garden, shared meals, or guided psycho-spiritual sessions, the space and the program come together to gently support a return to balance, presence, and a more centered way of being.

Drawing on this wisdom, Dar al Shifaa has developed a holistic framework of wellbeing, which is at the heart of everything we do, but it is realized to its fullest within a community setting that facilitates collective healing.

Why Choose Dar al-Shifaa Retreat

Healing in Suhba

Dar al-Shifaa’s retreat is intentionally designed around suhba — sincere companionship — and heart-centered grounding practices rooted in Islamic psychology. In a time where many are carrying both personal and collective heaviness, this space offers a way to be held, not in isolation, but together.

This is not a retreat focused on escape or self-optimization, but on restoration through presence, prayer, embodied practice, and being held within a guided community. Within suhba, healing begins to unfold not only individually, but through shared presence, compassion, and remembrance.

You choose this retreat if you are seeking depth without overwhelm, structure without rigidity, and healing that unfolds through relationship — with the heart, the body, the land, and one another. Every element, from the daily rhythm to the setting and nourishment, is carefully held to support safety, integration, and meaningful inner change.

Where stillness, prayer, and shared presence create space for the heart to heal
