Saman’s approach to working with clients is experiential, intuitive and heart-centered. She incorporates Islamic meditation practices, somatic awareness, movement, theater and storytelling to invite depth, creativity and courage in her work with clients. Her style is compassionate and curious, with a firm belief in each client’s ability to reclaim their primordial wholeness. Saman helps clients to identify emotional, cognitive and spiritual blocks that can create “stuckness” and tension, and guides them toward new, practical, and heartful ways of being. She is skilled in working with men, women and young adults in individual counseling and coaching. In addition to one-to-one work, she specializes in and has a deep passion for working with groups and group process. She offers Islamically oriented group coaching and tailored retreats to facilitate client healing within the power of the collective. Saman believes that healing – and magic – happens in heart-centered community and relational work.
